Created in 2020, the Porchlight Awards are our way of celebrating the vendors who don’t just show up—but set the standard. From flawless execution to unforgettable client experiences, these awards spotlight the partners who consistently elevate every event they touch.

All vendors are eligible for nomination, regardless of prior partnership status with Porchlight. However, Porchlight Preferred Vendors are automatically nominated, reflecting the ongoing relationships and trust built through shared events.

Awards are presented in “Best in Class” categories, including:

• Venues
• Decorations & Equipment
• Catering & Beverages
• Photo & Video
• Entertainment
• Coordination & Production
• Hair & Make-up
• Logistics & Transportation
• Other (for specialty or emerging services that don’t fit a single category)

Winners are selected based on a combination of factors, including professionalism, recent work completed with Porchlight; An Event Company, client reviews, and transparent pricing shared on websites or social platforms. For Preferred Vendors, additional consideration is given to exclusive discounts offered to Porchlight clients and engagement with their Porchlight vendor webpage.

In addition to category awards, one standout partner will receive an overall honor—recognizing a vendor who exemplifies excellence across all areas and consistently elevates the events they’re part of.

In 2024 we added The People’s Choice Award, which honors the vendor who makes the biggest impact on clients and guests. Selected through client feedback and community support, this award celebrates outstanding service and lasting impressions.
