Porchlight had the joy of planning and coordinating a stunning fall wedding at The Inn at Mount Pleasant in Torrington, CT—a celebration filled with warm seasonal colors, crisp mountain air, and heartfelt moments against the backdrop of one of New England’s most charming venues.
The Inn at Mount Pleasant sits on rolling farmland overlooking Litchfield County’s hills—already beautiful, but absolutely magical in October. On the day of the wedding, the property was glowing with peak foliage.
Using the latest software, we drafted a detailed design concept that laid out the setup of tables, chairs, and dance floor. We rented chairs from PartyPlus, and thanks to our great partnership with the vendor, we were able to negotiate premium options to improve the guest experience. Tables were provided by the venue owners, who custom built them using wood that was recycled during restoration of their barn!
We also helped the client book Diamond Luxury Lav for their event and were able to negotiate an upgrade to a three-stall restroom trailer.
One of the most memorable choices the couple made was opting for a full pig roast for their catering, provided by award-winning Bentley’s Famous BBQ.
DJ DopeGod of MNE Events was absolutely phenomenal, reading the crowd from the very first song and keeping the energy high all night. His transitions were smooth, his timing was flawless, and he knew exactly how to match the couple’s vibe while keeping guests on the dance floor from start to finish. The couple later shared how grateful they were for his professionalism and talent—his performance didn’t just entertain, it elevated the entire celebration.
The rest of the event was perfect- and we received compliments about the decorations and the seamless support we provided.
